Instructions

  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa, baking soda, spices, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add molasses and egg, mix well.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, combine until a dough forms.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut shapes for the house.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, let cool.
  8. Assemble the house using royal icing.
  9. Decorate with candies.
