Ingredients

  • 1 live lobster (about 1.5 pounds)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Boil the lobster for 8-10 minutes until cooked.
  2. Remove lobster from shell and cut into pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 1 minute.
  5. Add lobster pieces and bell pepper, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Mix in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar; cook for another minute.
  7. If using, mix cornstarch with water and add to thicken sauce.
  8. Garnish with green onions before serving.
