Description

Delicious thumbprint cookies filled with Hershey’s Kisses.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 36 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar.
  3. Add vanilla and mix well.
  4. Gradually blend in flour and salt.
  5. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Make an indentation in the center of each ball.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Remove from oven and immediately place a Hershey’s Kiss in each indentation.
  9. Let cool on wire racks.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container.
  • Substitute with different types of chocolate if desired.
  • Chill dough for 30 minutes for easier handling.
