Hershey thumbprint cookies are delicious chocolate cookies filled with creamy chocolate kisses.

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Hershey’s Kisses for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt. Mix until combined.
- Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Make an indentation in each ball using your thumb.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and immediately place a Hershey’s Kiss in the center of each cookie.
- Let cool before serving.

- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- You can use different types of chocolate for variety.
