Description

Delicious Hershey’s thumbprint cookies filled with chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Hershey’s chocolate kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together butter and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Add flour, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  4. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Make an indentation in the center of each cookie using your thumb.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately place a Hershey’s kiss in the center of each cookie.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container.
  • You can use other types of chocolate for filling.
  • Chill the dough for 30 minutes for easier handling.
