Delicious and easy jello and cool whip dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 package flavored jello (3 oz)
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup cool whip
- 1/2 cup fruit (optional)
Instructions
- Dissolve jello in boiling water.
- Add cold water and mix well.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Once slightly thickened, fold in cool whip.
- Add fruit if desired and mix gently.
- Pour mixture into serving dishes.
- Refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
Notes
- Use any flavor of jello you prefer.
- For a lighter version, use light cool whip.
- Can be made a day ahead.
