Ingredients

- 1 can black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine black-eyed peas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and cumin.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add salt to taste.
- If the hummus is too thick, add water gradually until desired consistency is reached.
- Serve with pita or vegetables.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Can be served as a dip or spread.
