Ingredients

- 2 cups grits
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb lobster meat, cooked and chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or gouda)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add grits and stir well.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once grits are thick, add heavy cream and butter.
- Stir in cheese until melted.
- Fold in lobster meat and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
