Description
A flavorful lobster dish cooked in a Cantonese style.
Ingredients

- 1 live lobster (about 1.5 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Boil the lobster for 8-10 minutes until cooked.
- Remove lobster from shell and cut into pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add lobster pieces and bell pepper, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Mix in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar; cook for another minute.
- If using, mix cornstarch with water and add to thicken sauce.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- Serve with steamed rice.
- Adjust spice level according to your taste.
