A rich and creamy peppermint fudge perfect for the holidays.
Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, butter, and evaporated milk.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract and chocolate chips.
- Mix until chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Pour into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top.
- Let cool at room temperature until set.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be frozen for later use.
- Adjust peppermint extract to taste.
