- 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Green food coloring (optional)
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- Mix crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a bowl.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add whipped cream and peppermint extract to the cream cheese mixture and fold together.
- If desired, add green food coloring for color.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
- You can use a store-bought crust if preferred.
- Adjust the amount of peppermint extract to your taste.
