Delicious pumpkin thumbprint cookies filled with sweet jam.
Ingredients

- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup jam of choice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, butter, and vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Shape the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Make an indentation in each ball with your thumb.
- Fill the indentation with jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
- Use any jam you like for filling.
- Store in an airtight container.
- These cookies freeze well.
