Ingredients

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy.
- Add cream of tartar and continue beating until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing until the icing is smooth and holds stiff peaks.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Use immediately or store in an airtight container.

- Adjust consistency with water or more powdered sugar as needed.
- Can be colored with food coloring for decoration.
