Description

A simple recipe for making royal icing roses for decoration.


Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites in a bowl until frothy.
  2. Add cream of tartar and mix well.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing until the icing forms stiff peaks.
  4. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  5. Transfer icing to piping bags and pipe roses on parchment paper.
  6. Let the roses dry for at least 24 hours before using.
