Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Additional powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the flour, salt, and nuts. Mix until combined.
  5. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the bottoms are lightly golden.
  7. Let them cool slightly on the baking sheet.
  8. Roll the warm cookies in powdered sugar and allow to cool completely.
  9. Roll in powdered sugar again before serving.
