Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Gradually add flour, cornstarch, and salt. Mix until combined.
  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Make an indentation in each ball using your thumb.
  7. Fill each indentation with caramel sauce.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Sprinkle sea salt on top while still warm.
  10. Let cool before serving.
