Instructions

  3. Spread the apple mixture in a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, cream together butter and remaining sugar.
  5. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the dough over the apple mixture.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before serving.
