Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the mixture and mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
