Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  6. Spread the batter evenly in a greased 9×13 pan.
  7. Mix 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
