Description

Delicious snickerdoodle cupcakes made from a box cake mix.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, milk, and oil.
  3. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add cinnamon and mix well.
  5. Line a cupcake tin with liners.
  6. Pour batter into liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cupcakes cool completely.
  9. In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla to make frosting.
  10. Frost cupcakes and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
