- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for coating)
- 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and mix well.
- Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons sugar and 3 tablespoons cinnamon.
- Form dough into balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place on baking sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
