Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup frosting of your choice for filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add eggs, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  6. Roll dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Make an indentation in the center of each ball with your thumb.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  9. Let cool and fill each thumbprint with frosting.
